My Credentials

My name is Lawrence Howe. I have a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts, USA. Here's my page at the Mathematics Genealogy Project, which gives the title of my thesis, and my advisor. (The phrase "no students known" refers to the fact that I have never been the supervisor of someone else's doctoral dissertation.) I taught for 4 years at the undergraduate university level at Redeemer University College, Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, teaching 11 different math courses while I was there. After doing other things for a while, I'm now back into mathematics. So far most of my tutoring has been in person, at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
